Peepul Leaf

Peepul Leaf — A Meditation

A single leaf hangs,
heart-shaped and listening.
Its narrow tip trembles—
not from fear, but from design—
a whisper in the architecture of water.

Rain finds no home here,
only passage.
It pools, then bows,
then slides away like thought
that has finished its work.

This is not stillness,
but flow disguised as stillness—
a stillness that lets go.

Beneath its quiet shimmer,
a deep code of purpose:
to endure, to stay clean,
to offer no grip to decay,
yet all of itself to light.

In temples, they pray under it.
In forests, it prays by being.
A lesson in shape:
to hold wide the world
and narrow it
to a single point of release.
